Glimpse!

In today's world, we are capable of getting an Instant Human Chore Service (Food/DoorDash, Ride/Uber, Groceries/InstaCart, House Cleaning/Handy, Home Massage/Soothe, Private Jet/BlackJet, Baby sitting/Poppy and Trusted), but getting an Instant IT Software Service (I will explain what this means in a bit), is very difficult!

Why?

Because, there are too many complexities, compliances, security, data privacy issues, trust issues, cost issues, quality issues, maintainability issues, support issues, timezone issues.

 

Ain't That Easy, Baby!

Today, there are platforms existing like Fiverr, who does the best to solve this problem by making freelancing available at fingertips for customers, especially individuals and small businesses.

Still, this is not not solving the core problem of delivering an IT Service in an instant fashion!

What do I mean by, an Instant IT Service?

​

Use Case 1 : I am a small business owner, selling t-shirts, getting started with my business, started with website planning for my business, and I needed the most basic artifact LOGO for my business.

Use Case 2 : I am a MuleSoft Integration Developer, and I am working on this complex integration pattern, and I know how to use Scatter Gather, and I know how to integrate with SalesForce, and I know how to connect to Kafka, I can do all wonders except am not that good at DataWeave. Wow!, but now I am stuck/struck here with this simple problem with DataWeave, which in my view should take about 10 minutes for a DataWeave expert?

So, how do we solve these problems in an instant fashion?

Let's start with Use Case 1:

The best answer, that I could come up with is, Tattadaayi!,  Introducinggggg, Fiverr! (there could be many, I am just naming one).

Fiverr solves this problem in this manner:

Match Customer with an expert in LOGO making (I am keeping cost aside, because sometimes cost is not the factor in getting an IT small service especially if its under 50 / 100 $, basic human instinct, all I wanted is some good LOGO for my business and how fast can I get this work done, and how fast can I move on with my own line of business which is selling t-shirts).

2) Instant Pay, a beautiful service for Business Service Provider

 

Get paid for your work Instantly. Wow! Really, yes, that's true, isn't it beautiful, seeing real cash in my bank account instantly for the work I did sitting at my home or coffee shop or in a movie theater or sitting in a park with beautiful sunset view!

 

So, what's missing here for the Customer?

As a Customer, there are still lot of questions burning in my mind!

  • How do I call my Business Service Provider?

  • How do I Zoom to get in a face to face conversation with my Business Service Provider so I can actually express my innnner thoughts about the long 10 year roadmap I have in my mind, and wanted to express every aspect of my vision right on face and embed it in my logo?

  • I am paying the Service fee upfront, and what if I am not 100% Satisfied? I know there is return policy, but to start with, why do I even need to pay out of my pocket, even if it's a  simple HOLD  on my Credit Card? Why, why, why I have to take a dollar out of my pocket even before I explain my requirement of what I need?

  • How qualified is this Business Service Provider is? There are 10M+ freelancers that does the LOGO but all I needed is one good expert who is good at listening to what I am gonna say, what I am gonna explain, and deliver the work right there and right then, that's all I am asking for). Who is taking responsible for providing this kind of quality check service? (Is Fiverr doing, may be I don't know, if they do, yaa that's good).

  • Am I paying extra? There are Business Service Providers that are offering the same LOGO design service ranging from 5 $ to 500 $ per LOGO. Wow! Oh my Goshhhhh, all I needed is a simple LOGO!

Oh boy, I love Vegas, who doesn't? mmmmmm, let me think, may be there are some that don't like Vegas, mmmmm, anyways, back to Vegas, what I love about Vegas is What happens there, Stays there. Period. Likewise, once we close any Service Order, all IT artifacts including your files, conversations, and what not you did from the start of placing the order to end of the payment, will be destroyed including but not limited to Destroy Slack Channel (that's it gone, its no where, because we create a dedicated Slack channel per order, one place where everything is managed, and one place where we can all burn it to ashes.
